Smackdown SPOILERS for Friday, August 12
-- Triple H made an appearance in the opening segment turning down World Hvt. champion Christian's request for the No Holds Barred stipulation to be removed from his World Title defense against Randy Orton at Summerslam.
-- Cody Rhodes captured the Intercontinental Title from Ezekiel Jackson, whose two-month title reign ended without much fanfare.
-- The Smackdown main event will be Randy Orton vs. Great Khali. Also, Christian will be in singles action against Sheamus.
-- Sin Cara returned in a singles match victory over Tyson Kidd. The crowd did not seem to notice if there was someone else playing Sin Cara under the mask.
-- Sheamus replaced Rey Mysterio in the advertised bonus match for the live crowd. The match was Orton and Sheamus beating Christian and Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio wrestled on Smackdown against Daniel Bryan.
-- Johnny Curtis made his Smackdown in-ring debut in a squash match loss to Mark Henry.
-- Beth Phoenix came over from Raw to team with Natalya in a victory over A.J. and Kaitlyn.
