WWE champion C.M. Punk and The Rock had a final in-ring confrontation leading to their WWE Title match at the Royal Rumble. Rock came out to confront Punk after Punk called out The Shield, telling then to stay away at the Rumble. Typical verbal confrontation.
After the segment was taped, Punk went back on the mic saying that he was still standing just like after the Rumble match. This caused Rock to come out to fight Punk, ending with a Rock Bottom.
(3) Randy Orton beat Drew McIntyre via DQ when Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater were both RKO'd.
(4) The Miz beat Darren Young via submission with the figure-four. U.S. champion Antonio Cesaro was on commentary to hype Miz-Cesaro on the PPV pre-show.
(5) World Hvt. champion Alberto Del Rio & WWE tag champions Daniel Bryan & Kane beat Big Show & Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow in a six-man elimination match.
